Ephesians 2 : 4 - 5

Ephesians 2 : 4–5  -  "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ..."
God loved us at our worst when we were dead, to bring us to His best. Made alive because of His mercy and grace. We did nothing for it, and add nothing to it.
If your approach to knowing God in His word is apathetic, you won't understand the Word. Disinterest in God's word will end in distraction from God's ways and will for you.
