Proverbs 10 : 19

Proverbs 10 : 19 - "In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise." Calvin Coolidge was asked why he spoke so little. He said, "I never regretted anything I didn't say."
Are your words filled with complaining and gossip, or do they, "impart grace to the hearers"? If you can't say that God is pleased, it is better to be quiet until God gives you something to say.
